White Strand Lodge is set about 500 metres back from the road on some five acres of its own land. If you want to get away from it all, this is certainly the place to do it.
There is comfortable sleeping accommodation for up to 8 people in 5 bedrooms (two ensuite double bedrooms, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, and one single bedroom).There are exceptional sea and mountain views from all rooms, so you can admire the scenery from the moment you open your eyes.
In the evenings, you can sit outside on a patio with a leisurely drink and watch famous Connemara sunsets over the Mannin Bay and the Twelve Bens mountains. We promise that any outdoor meal on a good day can only be described as memorable.
Have a lobster barbeque and relax with a glass of crisp white wine, while listening to the quiet murmuring of the waves and an occasional cry of the seagulls. The property owners are in good standing with the local lobster/crab fishermen and an introduction can easily be made if you would like to purchase the most delicious lobster and crab you will ever taste.
If you prefer to go out and have a night on the town, the nearby Clifden and Roundstones offer a great variety of traditional Irish pubs and quality restaurants.
